Wrapping exhaust headers is an important first step in controlling exhaust temperatures and reducing under hood radiant heat. Keeping exhaust gases hotter within the exhaust system helps in decreasing density and increases the flow of exhaust gases. This improves exhaust scavenging which, in turn, reduces intake temperatures. The result is an improvement in overall performance and increased horsepower.

DEI’s exhaust wrap is made of a high temperature fiberglass composite material with a proprietary coating designed to enhance heat retention and withstand continuous heat up to 2000°F. Exhaust Wraps are available in either natural or black and in several different lengths and widths to accommodate all applications.

Heat Shroud™ is made from the same laminated material as Heat Sheath™ and offers the same great benefits but with the added convenience of a hook & loop closure design. Simply wrap Heat Shroud around wires, cables or hoses without the need of removing them. Heat Shroud protects against oil, dirt, road grime and is fireproof, can be shaped to fit the tightest bends and offers the versatility of fitting diameters from 1⁄2” to 1 1⁄4”.

Heat Sheath™ is constructed from a Hi-Temp fiberglass fabric bonded to an aluminized material with sides sewn together forming a sleeve. Designed to slide over wires, cables and hoses providing the ultimate protection from oil, dirt, road grime and is fireproof. Heat Sheath is very easy to work with and pliable enough to be shaped to fit the tightest bends. Heat Sheath will reflect up to 90% of the radiant heat and insulates up to 500°F direct continuous heat.

Speed Sleeves™ provide everything you need to cover and protect your primary exhaust header pipes. They can easily be installed in tight engine compartments and, in most cases, be installed without removing the headers. Great for trouble shooting specific components that are close to the exhaust like ignition and electrical wires as well as fuel lines. Speed Sleeves offer an excellent alternative to wrapping entire exhaust headers.
