Moser Spools At Moser Engineering, we carry our own line of full spools for almost any race application. By replacing your old carrier with one of these spools, you will not only save weight, but will also help your car's performance. You will increase the life of your rearend's components by reducing the deflection in your case and eliminating the possibility of side gear failures. You want lightweight? We've got it! We now carry aluminum spools that are available for 9" Ford rear ends in 28, 31, and 35 spline. The spools feature a thicker ring gear flange and large diameter mid-section for increased strength and they weigh 4 lbs less than our steel spools.

Moser Engineering offers a lightweight, heavy duty pinion support for all 9" Ford cases. Our pinion supports are machined from solid aluminum blanks and are set up for oversized bearings for increased strength. M/E pinion supports are available for both the standard 28 spline and larger 35 spline pinion sizes. We have Timken pinion bearings available for both of the pinion supports we sell as well for a stock pinion support. See chart below for your application. Prices are subject to change without notice.
